  • How do I manage my deliverability and reputation?
Yes, Nyxion allows you to store and manage unlimited contacts in the system. Aimply upload, create or import as many contacts as you want – and benefit from always being able to reach everyone you want, without any extra cost. Pro tip – we only accept contact uploads of a maximum of 10k contacts at a time. Split you list accordingly!
  • Can I add unlimited email sending addresses?
Yes, Nyxion allows you to add unlimited email sending addresses – at no extra cost! That means if you have multiple emails from which you want to send campaigns (aka. alex@nyxion.io and pepe@nyxion.io, etc.) you can simply add and verify them with one click verification – as many times as you like! This enables you to send campaigns however you want - and to respect best sending practices in terms of output volume to make sure you don’t affect your deliverability!
  • What are personal servers?
Nyxion has a partnership with AWS, meaning that when anyone sets up an account, they are automatically given their own server corresponding to their region. This means that all your deliverability is managed personally – and the actions of other users don’t affect your sending ability. At your request, our team can allocate your sending from different geographic regions – and give you an overall picture of your server’s health – encouraging best practices to increase deliverability. Pro tip – we can provide you with custom sending IP’s at your request – just ask! Costs apply.
  • How do I manage my deliverability and reputation?
Deliverability and reputation is what determines how many of your emails reach the inboxes of the users you send emails too. A high reputation is paramount to ensure you reach the primary inbox, and a low reputation means you will most likely end up in SPAM! To make sure you have a high reputation, you need to respect best mass email practices, This includes – 1. Ensure your emails are warm – In basic terms. You will have a better reputation if you have sent quality emails that have been positively responded to, and a worse reputation if you have send a lot or no emails with no responses. It’s important that your email is warm – meaning that people have positively replied to your email address so that it looks like it is a real address for you to deliver. We recommend using email addresses for at least 3 weeks before sending any form of mass emails. To accelerate this, use an email warming service like warmupinbox.com, that does this automatically for new domains. We encourage you to use a warming service all the time to maintain a higher reputation 2. Sender Authentication - One of the most important ranking factors for email reputation is sender authentication. This involves verifying the authenticity of the sender’s domain and ensuring that the email hasn’t been forged or tampered with. The two commonly used authentication methods are SPF (Sender Policy Framework) and DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail). SPF allows the recipient server to check if the email originates from an authorized server, while DKIM uses digital signatures to verify that the email hasn’t been modified during transit. You need to send these up carefully for all of your emails or they will not deliver correctly. 3. IP Address Reputation - The reputation of the IP address from which the email is sent plays a crucial role in determining email deliverability. Email service providers and private companies maintain a database of IP addresses and their corresponding reputations based on past sending behavior. The most famous is Spamhaus Block List. If an IP address has a history of sending spam or engaging in other malicious activities, it will have a poor reputation, resulting in emails from that IP being flagged or blocked. 4. Email Engagement Metrics - Email engagement metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and spam complaints, are used by email service providers to gauge the quality and relevance of the emails being sent. Higher engagement indicates that recipients find the emails valuable and are actively interacting with them, while low engagement suggests that the emails may be unwanted or irrelevant. Emails with low engagement are more likely to be marked as spam or sent to the promotions or spam folder. 5. Spam Filters - Of course, email content also plays a role in determining email reputation. Email service providers use sophisticated spam filters that analyze the content of emails for spam-like characteristics. It is essential to avoid using excessive capitalization, misleading subject lines, too many images, or excessive use of keywords commonly associated with spam. Including a plain text version of the email and personalizing the content can also help improve deliverability. 6. Bounced emails - If your emails are bouncing – it’s not good for business! This will drastically affect your reputation. Ensure you are not sending emails to bouncing contacts – regularly clean your lists. Pro tip – use email bounce cleaners every time you have a contact list before you upload the list like neverbounce
  • What are best practices for sending mass emails – both marketing and cold outreach?
Start Slowly: Begin with a low volume of emails. For a new email address, this might mean starting with sending only a few dozen to a hundred emails per day. This helps avoid triggering spam filters. Gradual Increase: Slowly increase the volume over time. For example, you could increase your sending volume by 20%-50% every few days, as long as you're not noticing a significant increase in bounces or spam complaints. For marketing emails - If this is a new email address, please respect these boundaries – For cold outreach emails – RESPECT the 5k per domain limit! Starting in 2024, Google and Yahoo will ask bulk email senders to confirm their emails, provide simple ways to unsubscribe and keep their emails below a specified spam threshold. Bulk senders are those who send more than 5,000 emails in 1 day to the Google/Yahoo network. This 5,000-email limit will include every email sent out from addresses that belong to your domain: newsletters, marketing, transactional emails, and emails. If you send to more contacts without theses custom footers – you will be marked as a SPAMMER
  • How does our AWS partnership work?
Nyxion.ai prioritizes maximum email deliverability and has partnered with AWS to provide clients with an individual sending server and IP address to ensure that campaigns are as effective as possible. When you sign up to Nyxion.ai you are automatically assigned your own server, which varies depending on your region. This allows you to individually manage your reputation and prevents cross contamination across accounts. This dedicated approach allows for focused reputation monitoring, enabling us to proactively manage and, if necessary, rotate IPs based on performance and geographical considerations. To further optimize delivery times and reliability, this regional selection can be customized at any time by reaching out to our support team. Additionally, we offer the flexibility of IP rotation between email campaigns, to maintain a strong sender reputation and ensure consistent email deliverability for all our users.
